Michael Eats It All

Strange or familiar, if it's edible, I'll eat it. I'm an aspiring culinary Indiana Jones (where can I get monkey brains?) on the lookout for tasty treats at home and on the road. I'm a sucker for cupcakes. I will never turn down a food dare.

Join me on the adventure!
Louisiana cochon with turnips, cabbage and cracklin at Cochon in New Orleans. 7May2011

Smoked brisket with horseradish potato salad at Cochon in New Orleans. 7May2011
I forgot that the potatoes were a potato salad and not mashed potatoes, which surprised me at first. Horseradish in potato salad is such a great idea for a pairing with beef.

Wood-fired Oyster Roast at Cochon in New Orleans.
I can’t quite remember what is in this, but I know it has lemon juice, lemon zest, chili pepper, and butter. This was pretty darn tasty.  7May2011
